About
Having spent the last 15 years teaching both privately and as a public school music teacher. I have taught almost 1,000 students. I have seen every type of student in that time and have experience solving every kind of problem imaginable. I believe my expertise stands out not only because of my educational background but because my personal experience with the guitar is very multi faceted. I am classically trained, I have been in rock bands, Gypsie Jazz groups, Folk groups, and blues groups. I can teach any style.
I love nothing more than instilling motivation, self discipline, wonder, and joy into my student's lives. Music is such a powerful thing for so many reasons and I love being able to share that with the world.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student is different. Students have different starting points, learning styles, goals, and restraints. My education background has given me the ability to cater my lessons to those very unique needs of the student. It generally consists of a compromise between music for fun, music for technique development, and music for artistic growth.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in Instrumental Music Education from UCO. My focus was classical guitar. I am a traditionally state certified secondary teacher. I have 7 years of teaching music in public schools, and 15 years experience teaching private lessons.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rate is $25 per half hour. Scheduling is flexible.
