Hi! I’m a mom and a grandma. I enjoy teaching children the joy of music on the piano. I have a Bachelor’s degree in music from Drew U in NJ. I also attended The Aspen School of Music in Colorado. I’ve taught piano lessons for 50 years intermittently. I like to teach children 7 years old and older. To succeed, your child should practice often, 5-7 days a week. I look forward to teaching your child!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I spend the first lesson trying out basic things on the piano. I try to make it like a game. We don’t do much in the lesson book at first until the student understands how to find the notes on the keyboard. Sometimes I have them make up their own song.
