Maria's Violin And Viola Lessons
About
I received my Bachelor and Master of music from The Juilliard School and am currently a member of The Louisville Orchestra. I have experience teaching all ages and all levels of violin and viola and currently serve as adjunct faculty at Indiana University Southeast.
I have attended The Tanglewood Music Center, the Aspen Music Festival and School, was on faculty at the Luzerne Music Center, and currently play in the Britt Festival Orchestra every summer.
I frequently am a substitute violinist with both the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. In addition to being an orchestral player, I play a great amount of chamber music on both violin and viola. I am a member of the NouLou Chamber Players which is a group of musicians who live in Louisville and give multiple chamber music recitals every year.
I teach from my home in Louisville and am currently teaching my lessons over ZOOM.
I have been able to adapt to teaching online quite easily, so I am also able to teach students from outside of the Louisville area as well.
I have always enjoyed teaching, and am currently looking to expand my own teaching studio in Louisville.
