About
I am a retired Public School Music Teacher with 20 years experience in the bandroom for 20 years. I have taught Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Percussion in Classroom and Private situations. I have taught Beginning, Concert, Jazz, and Marching Band.
I am currently teaching at my home studio and also on Zoom. I have taught private lessons on all instruments for 38 years.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and am Certified in Pennsylvania to teach Music in Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
I have a Masters Degree in Administration in the State of Pennsylvania from Edinboro University of Pa.
I have all of my current Pennsylvania Required Clearances through the FBI and the Pennsylvania State Police.
I truly enjoy helping Students make this musical journey and offer as much support as I can to help them to become successful. I will write out exercises, provide additional material and link YouTube videos to help my students to become the musicians they aspire to be.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet with the student a few days before the 1st lesson so we can talk. I find out what the goals of the student are. We set up how to use the Zoom platform and make sure we are connecting. We go over the material needed and I answer any questions the student may have. We agree on the date and time. Then the student sends my fee either via PayPal or Check before the first lesson. Checks can be dropped off at my home mailbox to save on postage.
