Fret Factory Music School

Fret Factory Music School provides personalized private music instruction for students of all ages, experience levels, and musical goals. Whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time, returning to music after many years, preparing for a college audition, or working toward professional-level skills, our goal is to connect you with an instructor who is the right fit for you.

Our instructors offer lessons in electric, acoustic and classical guitar, bass guitar, piano, voice, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, music theory, songwriting, recording, music production, and music technology. Our faculty covers a wide variety of musical styles, including rock, metal, classical, jazz, blues, pop, folk, country, musical theater, praise and worship, and more.

Fret Factory Music School is built around individualized instruction rather than a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Students may work with traditional notation, tablature, ear training, method books, repertoire, customized exercises, audio and visual materials, and modern learning technology depending on their needs and goals. Our instructors focus not only on learning songs, but also on developing strong technique, musicianship, rhythm, theory, creativity, and the skills needed to continue progressing independently.

Our teaching staff brings together a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds. Our instructors include longtime private and college-level educators, university-trained musicians, working performers, composers, songwriters, recording and production professionals, and musicians with decades of real-world experience. Members of our faculty have helped students successfully prepare for college music programs, auditions, performances, recording projects, and professional musical opportunities.

We work with complete beginners through advanced students, children through adults, and recreational musicians through those pursuing serious academic or professional goals. Some students simply want to learn their favorite songs and enjoy making music. Others want an in-depth understanding of technique, theory, improvisation, composition, recording, or performance. Both are equally welcome.

Lessons are available in person at our Lemoyne, Pennsylvania location, with online instruction available for students when appropriate. We also use modern educational tools and supplemental resources to help make practice between lessons more organized, engaging, and effective.
