I'm a former English middle school/high school teacher. I have studied with several great guitarist with the most significant one Beijing 10 years of study in Philadelphia with master guitarist and former Hollywood studio musician Dennis Sandole. I have taken music theory and appreciation courses in college as well. I have played professionally for about 40 years. I have had my original songs published and have licensed some of them.
I enjoy using a student centered approach to teaching. I try to gauge the student's interest and focus the lessons around that interest.

I’ve only taken four guitar lessons so far, but I find my teacher very knowledgeable, helpful and instructive. I plan to continue with several more lessons and go from there.
