Our Philosophy

At Inclusion Martial Arts our aim is to bring high quality, traditional, and affordable World Tang Soo Do self-defense instruction and training to the Philadelphia community. Our unique approach to combining traditional and innovative martial arts methods and techniques distinguishes us from the typical school.

Our instructors have a wide range of expertise and are here to train you through every step of the learning process. Whether you’re joining us as a beginner or an advanced belt, there’s always more room to develop your craft.

We truly believe that there is a need in the community for practical, effective self-defense that can enrich the lives of dedicated students by increasing your self-confidence and conditioning. Our goal is to develop martial arts skills and the character traits which enable us to feel in control and safe.

I started martial arts at five years old. I started teaching martial arts at eleven after I received my first black belt.

Students with mental and physical disabilities. Students with autism. Students with developmental problems and/or anger issues.

Look for the instructor who is invested in the students and not themselves. Look for a family environment. Be sure that the instructor is a proper mentor and guide.
