About
I've been playing and teaching the piano for seventy years and voice for 5 years. I always tell my students they are learning two significant life time activities: they are learning to play the piano and they are entering the universe of "Music." Teaching is an interactive process. The joy of music is a life time treasure and a gift you give to yourself.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
You start with the basics. Sitting at the piano, hand position, learning the notes and their values. It's a slow process and it is never typical. Every student is unique.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing the piano for 70 years. Studied composition with Vincent Persichetti, Classical piano with Clement Pertrillo for ten years and Jazz with Dennis Sandoli. Studied orchestration with albert Harris and conducting with Frederich Zqeig.
