In my experience It is paramount to start off young students with the proper foundation. Even advanced students who are referred to me, can benefit from sound technical training. I offer solutions to many of the problems that string players have. Over the years I raised my three children two who are professionally playing. I have been teaching over 34 years in a number of venues. I know the pitfalls and how to make learning a successful fun experience. Each individual is unique and special. Studying music is a opportunity to develop their potential as a player as well as mature in their character. I enjoy teaching as its my passion. Since I first laid my hands on a violin, I have loved the experience learning on the violin and playing in orchestras. Along with teaching strings, I have a strong foundation in piano. It was my first instrument. Each student brings something special to the lessons in terms of ability personality and character. I enjoy seeing how they improve in their style of playing. If they are a transfer student many have to improve by make changes in their intonation or bowing style.
