About
Julia is a singer, songwriter, and performer with 16 years of formal classical vocal training and over 8 years of teaching experience. She holds a BFA in Vocal Performance from Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied under world-renowned soprano Maria Spacagna.
Well-versed across a wide range of vocal styles—including opera, musical theatre, and contemporary popular music—Julia brings both technical expertise and artistic versatility to her teaching. Her students have been featured on Season 26 of The Voice and Season 19 of American Idol, and have been accepted to prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music, the Clive Davis Institute at NYU, and the Musical Theatre Intensive at the Goodman Theatre. They have also been recognized by YoungArts and the Music Center Spotlight Awards.
Teaching has always been Julia’s true passion. Having benefited from the unwavering support of her own family and mentors, she is deeply committed to passing on her knowledge and inspiring the next generation of creative, confident, and expressive artists. Julia lives by the motto, “There is no such thing as bad singing—only unhealthy singing,” and strives to nurture each student’s unique voice while fostering a lifelong love of music and self-expression.
