Violin / Fiddle Lessons - All Levels & Ages Welcome

My name is Mia Choi and I'm offering beginner - advanced violin/fiddle and beginner violin/viola lessons in Reading. I hold a Bachelors degree in Music (Violin) from Curtis Institute of Music. My focus in teaching is to encourage creativity and improvisation along with more formal classical studies. I teach my students the proper techniques necessary to be able to play a variety of styles of music, including, but not limited to, classical, fiddling, jazz, pop, rock, and blues. In addition, my students learn basic music theory to help them in learning how to improvise, compose, and arrange their own music.

*A side note for beginners: Violin/Fiddle/Viola lessons, along with any other type of music lessons, are a LONG-TERM commitment. i.e. you will not learn everything I've stated in my profile within a few weeks/months. But if you are committed to learning, I'm committed to teaching you!
