I do one on one lessons at my piano studio in Olyphant. I studied under the late Anne Vanko Liva, went to Marywood University for a music and art degree and have been teaching since 1981. The students are involved in many things throughout the year to keep motivation high. For interested students, this includes a Gold Cup Festival, Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival, National Guild Piano Playing Auditions and also prepare students to try out for Carnegie Hall.
I love to see students so proud when they learn new things! The sense of accomplishment they feel makes every minute worth it!

Miss Lisa is a great teacher. She has taught all three of my children. She makes piano fun but she is tough when she needs to be. I really appreciate that they participate in a few competitions each year. My kids have to prepare for competition and then perform the skills they have learned. I highly recommend Miss Lisa!
