About
Your lessons with me will be the most personalized guitar lessons you ever take. I tailor each lesson precisely around what the student needs/wants to learn and what will make them shine. I have a great deal of live playing experience with blues and rock bands and have played in professional recording environments. For this reason my expertise is in blues/rock styles, but I am also well versed in jazz and have classical experience. I'm far along in the Berklee core ciriculm, meaning I can teach a very high level of each aspect of muscianship (harmony, ear Training, arranging, etc.). Students have told me I'm enjoyable/comfortable to take lessons with, the most importatnt thing to me as a teacher is creating a positive/fun learing environment. I have the most competitive rates in town, and for this price you will not get anyone else close to my level of musianship/experience. So what are you waiting for? Try a lesson today!!
I love to watch my students progress. My favorite feelings is seeing someone develop something I've taught them into their own style.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that will personalize each lesson to you and your needs. Also make sure your teacher can seriously play the music you would like to learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask yourself what do I really want to get out of this. Do you want to learn the most possible information or are you more playing for fun? For many it's a combination of both, but it's important to explain this so your teacher understands your attitude twords playing.
