I provide practical lessons designed for each individual student. You will get personalized lessons based upon your ability, progression, and interests. These lessons are great for beginner and intermediate students.
I want to help my students approach guitar in a way that fits their interests. I perform over 120 shows per year and can help students understand the music industry.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will start by finding out the interests of my students. Then we will move to begin basics of guitar such as simple chord progressions, single note melodies, and technique. From there the student can set the amount of work and practice they want to complete each lesson.

I will charge:
$20 - 30 minutes
$27 - 45 minutes
$35 - 60 minutes
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Students should hire the teacher that listens to their needs as students. The lessons should be tailored to the students ability and interests beyond the music.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do you want to accomplish? Why do you want to play guitar?
