Piano With Rafi
About
I teach Jazz, Pop, Blues, Funk, Rock, Hip Hop, Rhythm and Blues, and Rock Piano! I also teach music theory!
I just received my BA in Jazz Piano Performance from Clark University, and received the 2020 Manero Award for musical achievement. I plan on pursuing my MM next fall at the Hartt School of Music.
I love playing and teaching music! I find it incredibly rewarding when a student grasps an abstract concept. Playing music is incredibly freeing and expressive, and I love empowering my students to have similar experiences.

I usually ask for $40/hour and $25/ half hour. However, I believe that musical education should be available to all students, regardless of socioeconomic status. Therefore, if you can't afford that rate, we can work something out!

1) Music should be fun! If you're not enjoying it, you need a new teacher!
2) Don't be afraid to ask questions!
