A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:

Primarily one would learn to read standard notation and chords; tablature comes later. This is all reinforced in the practical application of time-tested, popular songs of all genres.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:

One who PRACTICES is my ideal student. It's that simple. If you have the passion but don't practice or if you're an honors student or a successful business person who doesn't PRACTICE, you're NOT my ideal student.
