Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, we offer a sample lesson to see if the instructor and student are compatible, because music should be fun as well as instructive. If the student enjoys the sample, they are then able to sign up for further lessons with their preferred instructor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors have music degrees from various institutions including Berklee School of Music, Juliard, and Harvard University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically, depending on the instructor, our lessons average $37 per 1/2-hour, and $70 for the hour.
How did you get started teaching?
We are a music school that opened its doors in February of 2012 offering instruction on all instruments, voice, and music theory.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all students of all ages, from age 2 and up. And we also have expertise working with students with special needs.
