About
Hello! My name is Giselle DaSilva and I have been teaching piano independantly for the past 5 years. I have also been accompanying the Cumberland High School Chorus and directing a community choir in Cumberland called the Sparkling Singers for 5 years. I teach beginner piano technique as well as music theory. It is very important for me to create a fun learning environment where students are eagar for their piano lessons and to practice the skills they have learned afterwards. I have taught students raging from the age of 9 to 47, and have a flexible schedule.
If you are interested in taking piano lessons, please contact me at (401)-500-2388.
My favorite part of teaching piano is forming a bond with my students and their families- I am a very warm person, so I become very invested in the students I work with! I find it very satisfying when I can tell a student is enjoying their lesson. Even better, I love coming back the next week and being able to hear the improvements a student has made from practicing by themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If you would like to take lessons with me, please call or text me at (401)-500-2388. From there, we can schedule a date and time that works for you and I will send you pictures of the materials for my lessons. Usually, I will only need you to get one music book to learn songs from and one book to learn piano exercises from.
