I Also make sure to go over the musical alphabet and I have a unique method for helping anyone understand the notes on the fretboard in just one lesson.A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:After a warm up, we will review everything on the last assignment. I will make written notes and usually we will move forward in a book. I usually complete this part of the lesson with some time left to go over any other songs the student is trying to perform. My students often bring song ideas they want to play an I encourage this!The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:My students must show a willingness to learn and a desire to get better on guitar. This is demonstrated by practicing. I have a very good success rate of motivating people to practice. I do this by genuinely caring about your success. I take my commitments very seriously.
