What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For beginers, I like to first get their fingers on the guitar playing notes on ALL the strings. Then strum easy one chord songs like "Lime in the Coconut" to get their rytm going. Next steps: more chords, slowly adding more complicated stwo and three chord songs. Also a focus on music reading.
