Mary Kay's Piano Studio

I teach private piano and I’m the Music Director for a local church. Teaching is my passion and I love helping students reach their potential in the study of music! I enjoy teaching students of all ages starting at four years old. Although I am classically trained in music education, I enjoy teaching several genres. I am a member of CMTA and MTNA. I have also been a member in the National Guild of Piano Teachers. I have adjudication experience with the Guild and the National Federation of Music. My strengths are listening, patience, encouragement, and compassion. For fun I enjoy composing songs with my husband with plans to record this year. I currently sing in the Lowcountry Senior Center Choir. I enjoy playing for parties and I love to read and paint. I have enjoyed raising a son who is self-sufficient.
