About
I enjoy seeing my students bring their own creativity to each lesson, and enhance their own learning experience just from the sharing of ideas, and musical insite. I believe this can happen with any student, at any age and level. I teach piano, guitar, drums, ukulele, bass guitar, vocals, and even songwriting, and teaching music over the years, I've realized that one of the most important thing that connects each instrument is connection. My job as a music teacher is to help make that connection stronger within the student
I believe it is important to understand why we play what we play, and musically, I like to teach a basic level of musical theory to lay the groundwork to inspire the student to be creative on their own. The teacher-student relationship and engagement in the lesson is essential to a productive and quality lesson. I've taught anything from piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums, ukulele, and songwriting, and one of the things that I've enjoyed seeing within the 4 years I've been teaching is seeing the student make a connection with the music they are playing. My job is to simply make the connection with the music stronger, and to help in the creative process, no mater the age, or skill level.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
No matter the instrument, no mater the level, the first lesson is free. I like to assess the style, technique, and level of each new student so I know how to properly teach the lessons to come. This is also a good opertunity to see if I'm a right fit for the student as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing music ever since I was 7 years old. When I went to college, I graduated with an emphasis in music recording and engineering. I've been teaching for 4+ years, and I've taught just about any age ranging from 3-63.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
30mins = $30 (Recommended for anyone under 12yrs old)
45mins = $40 (recommended for anyone between 13-17yrs old)
$60 = 1 Hour (recommended for anyone 18yrs+)
How did you get started teaching?
I took a professional instructors class before college, and taught at a local private music school, and I fell in love with teaching music, and allowing others to experience music in their own way through their own new found talent.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all ages, ranging anywhere between 3 and 63 years old. I've had the privilege to teach students with ADHD, and autism.
