Transform Your Child’s Music Experience — Online Now, In-Person in Columbia / Lexington Summer 2026
I’m currently welcoming new Zoom students from anywhere, and I will begin offering in-person lessons in the Columbia / Lexington, SC area starting Summer 2026. Spots for in-person lessons are limited, so the best way to secure a place is to schedule a free, no-pressure intro lesson today. Your student will learn something fun to play, we’ll explore their musical interests, and you’ll see whether lessons with me feel exciting and inspiring. You can also learn more at benbrillmusic.com.
My goal is simple: to help students become confident, creative, and passionate musicians. That might mean performing at a talent show, writing original songs, singing while playing, or mastering the music they love. Every lesson is tailored to your child’s personality and interests, making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful — not “stuffy” or one-size-fits-all.
After teaching thousands of lessons on guitar, ukulele, drums, piano, bass, violin, and more, I’ve developed methods and resources that give students the best start in music and a real chance to love it for life.
I teach guitar (electric, acoustic, classical), ukulele, and Loog guitar at a high level, and can help students reach an intermediate level on piano, drums, bass, violin, harmonica, or voice. I also offer affordable group classes online or in person, starting at $120/month for weekly sessions with students at a similar level.
Private lesson rates (Zoom or studio):
$45 — 30 minutes | $65 — 45 minutes | $80 — 60 minutes
In-home lessons in Columbia / Lexington will be available Summer 2026 with a small travel fee.
I’ve been teaching music for over 15 years (full-time for the past 6), running a music school, performing family-friendly concerts, teaching preschool music programs, managing live sound for festivals of 2,000+ attendees, and producing recordings for bands, choirs, and orchestras. My students benefit from this experience in every lesson — because I know how to make music fun, inspiring, and rewarding.
The best first step is a free intro lesson — it’s easy, no pressure, and your student will start playing something they love right away. Reserve your spot today by contacting me here, or at benbrillmusic.com.
