Hello there! I have a college degree in music, have taught dance since 2015, and am a native Spanish speaker.

In terms of music, I can teach how to read music and play chords, but that's about as far as I can go when it comes to piano and guitar. I am not classically trained in those areas, so I do not know how to play finger-style guitar or how to play with both hands on piano.

In terms of dance, I specialize in Latin Dance (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia). I am a Zumba instructor as well and have choreographed for over 80 weddings and quinceañeras.

I like to focus on what the student actually wants to learn, so my teaching style is a little unorthodox. Instead of following a rigid rubric of things you "have to learn," I ask what the student would like to learn, and then teach what is needed to achieve that goal. I am very patient and am always have to work with students as long as they are practicing and I see effort is being made. 😊
