LSAP MUSIC
About
I have been playing piano since the age of 2. I am a Music Educator. I hold Certificates Grades 1-8 in Piano and Music Theory from the Royal Schools of Music London, a BS degree in Music Education/Piano from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester NY, a M.S.Ed in Music Education/Piano from Nazareth College of Rochester, and I am presently working on my doctorate.
I teach students who wants to explore the art of playing the piano. I teach students in their homes because they learn faster in a familiar environment.
I enjoy seeing the growth of my students from a musicianship aspect. Also, music literacy is key to becoming a consummate musician. Transferring the passion that I have for the piano to the student to play piano repertoire that reinforces proper technique which in turn augments their musicianship is a wonderful thing.
