Andrew Haselden is an incredible pianist and great teacher! He can teach you anything you want to know about piano so I highly recommend taking lessons with him.

Andrew is an extremely gifted pianist who is passionate about his craft and mesmerizes his audiences with his talent and enthusiasm. Although trained as a classical pianist, Andrew plays all types of music and occasionally performs with several regional groups. It is obvious that he loves sharing his gift with others, which makes him a great teacher. He motivates students by personalizing lessons based on their interests and sets them up for success with his unique teaching style

My boys have taken piano lessons from Andrew for about three years. It is challenging to keep middle school boys interested in piano, especially active boys who would sometimes rather be shooting basketball or playing video games.

Andrew has a unique way of teaching, and he has demonstrated the ability to alter teaching methods to best suit (or keep the interest) of the student. As an example, he can teach students to read music or play by ear, all the while maintaining basic fundamentals. In addition, Andrew is very knowledgeable in all/most genres.

Andrew was an answer to prayer for our family. Our son, Josiah, is totally blind with Asperger’s Syndrome behaviors-yet a gifted musician with perfect pitch. Finding a piano teacher who was willing to take him on was a tough task. Andrew didn’t hesitate to teach him when I asked. That was seven years ago. Andrew has been able to go more deeply in theory and technique in order to broaden his repertoire. Andrew continually nudges Josiah to the next level with personalized instruction. He is so patient while trying to read Josiah’s behaviors in order to get to the root of any issue. He knows how to push through and get Josiah to relax. We are so blessed to have Andrew teaching Josiah. Josiah is in very capable hands.
