About
My love of music encouraged me to establish my piano studio in 2012, and I have felt blessed by the opportunity to touch the lives of pianists through teaching and artistry.
I received my BM in Piano Performance in 2015 from Kennesaw State.
I strongly believe that music is an important part of a person's life, and I'm attaching a copy of my teaching philosophy. I incorporate all aspects of music in piano lessons because my lessons are more about just playing notes or learning a song. I use fun, exciting activities to teach my students music theory, music history, aural skills, composition, and improvisation so they will be able to do anything they desire with music in the future.
I love the arts, and I love to create. Encouraging other young artists to reach for the sky and discover their potential gives me more joy than anything in the world.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer 1 FREE trial lesson. This allows me to get to know the student and for the student to get to know me to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my B.M. in Piano Performance and my B.A. in Dance in 2015 from Kennesaw State University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically recommend lessons to be once a week. Tuition depends on the length of the lesson and is paid on a monthly basis.
30 minute lessons once per week is $90 per month.
45 minute lessons ($115 per month)
1 hour lessons ($140 per month)
How did you get started teaching?
I love playing piano, but I soon discovered that I love sharing my passion for the arts just as much. I began teaching in 2012 while in college because I love to encourage other artists to refine their skills and help discover their creativity.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
An event that I recently participated in was Circle Modern Dance Primitive Light. I absolutley loved the collaboration between both musicians and dancers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would recommend looking for a qualified teacher that knows many styles and genres of music. I believe a classical background is an important foundation for all pianists, but every genre is unique and should be explored so each pianist can find their passion. Not only do you want a teacher to be knowledgeable, but you also want them to truly care about the student and the art.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I believe that it's okay to reach out to talk to a teacher at any point in the process, whether you have just begun considering piano lessons or if you have played for a long time. That's what our job is! I always want my students to feel as though they could reach out to me at any point.
