What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We utilize a unique method of teaching both technique and reading music in tandem by breaking down the basic aspects of both within a song into steps that focuses on one task and then puts them together making the multi-tasking of reading and playing easier to accomplish. This is done for the first few songs so that the beginning student understand the basic principles of reading as applied to their instrument, then they are moved into a standard method.
