I teach students ages 4 through adults. My goal is to instill in pupils the love of making music through piano playing and to help them develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become independent pianists and music readers.

I love what I do and it makes me so happy to be able to share my passion with others.

Since starting as a professional Piano Instructor, I’ve been privileged to see so many students discover their natural skills and abilities and reach results they never dreamed were possible. If that sounds like something you’d like to explore, get in touch.

I have always enjoyed listening to music. Since I was a youth it has been a dream of mine to be able to play the piano. As I grew into adulthood and my senior years, I thought my learning days were over. Happily, I was wrong. Under the caring guidance of Ms Alina, the past four years of piano study has been a pleasure and a blessing. Alina has showed me that I am capable of learning new things and this experience has enriched me in many different ways. I would encourage anyone who has the opportunity to study piano and continue learning, no matter what age, to go for it. It is exciting, motivating, and beneficial. I just love it!!!

Alina Rosevear is a wonderful piano teacher.  In one year she has taken my daughter from playing with only one hand and
reading very little music to playing with both hands simultaneously and reading somewhat complicated pieces.  My daughter
now enjoys picking up song books and reading and playing the music.    Alina is kind, encouraging and very committed to the
success of her students.  Throughout the year she provides them with individual and group instruction as well as several
performance opportunities.   I am amazed with my daughter’s progress and would highly recommend Alina to anyone wanting
to learn to play the piano.

I am 76 and have been studying piano with Ms Alina for the past 7 years. Following a stroke, I noticed that I began to forget little things and grew concern about the possibility of Alzheimers. My doctor recommended learning something new like a language or an instrument in order to keep my brain sharp. I chose to study the piano and have enjoyed it immensely. It is such a great mental exercise! Ms Alina is an excellent piano teacher. She is patient, understanding, and proceeds at your rate of learning. She has great experience with all age students, different levels of playing, and many styles of music. You will enjoy learning with her.

Taking piano lessons from Ms Alina has been one of the best and most rewarding experiences of my childhood.  Every week for the past 11 years, I have looked forward to and enjoyed having my lesson.  Taking piano from Ms Alina has not only helped me musically, letting me play at a high level of piano, but it has also increased my awareness of classical musicians as a whole, given me more self-confidence through the frequent recitals, and allowed me to meet many other fellow piano players.   If I had the chance to go back and do this all over again, I most definitely would.

Ms Rosevear is a brilliant teacher and pianist. We love her cheerful and encouraging spirit. It is clearly evident that she remembers the challenges that a piano student faces and she strategically instructs students to adjust to and overcome each one. We have taken lessons for 15 years with Ms Rosevear and highly recommend her!

Alina Rosevear was my son’s piano teacher from kindergarten through eighth grade. Alina’s kind manner and knowledge of teaching children was a success for Zachary. He progressed very nicely and learned to appreciate music and having the ability to play the piano. Zachary loved his teacher and worked very hard to please her. I am thankful that he had the opportunity to learn under her. I think for the rest of his life he will carry skills that Alina taught him and a love of music. I would highly recommend her as a teacher for any child!
