Good day! Thank you for your interest in violin lessons. I've been playing violin for over 25 years and teaching for more than half of that time. My playing experience includes Orchestra playing, Recitals, Jazz combos, and more. I strive to be a comprehensive and patient teacher that meets students where they are at in their development, helping them not only to learn and improve their musicianship skills, but to be a true afficianado of music. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I'd like to have a phone conversation with a new student or his/her parents, then an introductory lesson to be sure we are a good match as teacher/student.
