About
Hello! I am a Vocal Pedagogy graduate student at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. My undergraduate degree is from Michigan State University in Music Education. I have taught high school chorus in Georgia, but I have a true passion for teaching in a private setting.
I have taught private voice lessons for a couple of years in Michigan and I would like to establish a studio in the Nashville area. I am currently learning the pedagogy of the voice in my Master's degree so that I can become a more knowledgable teacher.
I would love to work with singers at ANY level to grow their passion and skill of the instrument. I also offer lessons in music theory, sight reading, and ear training. Please contact me if you are interested and we can talk in more detail about lessons. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I love to teach, especially in a private setting, because I can give my undivided attention to my student. Teaching privately allows me to closely track the progress of each student throughout his or her study with me. Witnessing the growth of a student's curiousity, ability, and voice, so that one day that student will be his or her own teacher is what I enjoy most about teaching private voice lessons.
