I have over 10 years experience teaching private lessons in a variety of areas as well as experience teaching in the classroom setting. I hold a bachelor's degree in music education (vocal and instrumental) as well as a master's degree in voice performance. Currently, I am working on my doctorate of voice science while teaching at local universities and my private studio. Founded in 2012, School of Rock Germantown serves the Germantown, Tennessee area, offering both in-person and online music lessons for all ages. The institution strongly believes in learning through performance, and from day one, students are taught to play music, progressing from individual lessons in drums, bass, keyboards, vocals, and guitar to live performances at local venues. School of Rock Germantown, led by experienced instructors who are local musicians, creates a fun learning environment that builds confidence, musicianship, and great communities of musicians.

Make a Joyful Noise is my private lesson studio. I hold a Master of Music degree from Louisiana State University and I moved to Memphis to work on my DMA at the University of Memphis. I have over 30 years teaching experience and I specialize in preschool and elementary music education. I have older students who have been with me since their formative years. My focus is on sharing the joy of music while laying a foundation of lifelong learning.
