Make a Joyful Noise is my private lesson studio. I hold a Master of Music degree from Louisiana State University and I moved to Memphis to work on my DMA at the University of Memphis. I have over 30 years teaching experience and I specialize in preschool and elementary music education. I have older students who have been with me since their formative years. My focus is on sharing the joy of music while laying a foundation of lifelong learning.

Founded in Memphis, Tennessee, Kindermusik by Sing Play and Grow specializes in providing music and movement classes for young children, ranging from newborns to 7-year-olds. The company also offers Mommy and Me classes, as well as private piano lessons. In addition to teaching, they serve as consultants and trainers, playing a pivotal role in fostering the growth and development of young minds through music.

When a student understands how the body connects with the vocal instrument, amazing results happen. I want students to achieve their goals and dreams. I care if they make their audition or sign a record deal. What I enjoy the most is when a student calls and says, "Ms. Newberry, I got the singing or acting part or I will make my debut with the Metropolitan Opera or I just won a Grammy!" That is so fulfilling.

My lessons are for beginners to low intermediate students, particularly if they’re interested in metal rhythm guitar or vocal styles

Because I have 20 years of acting and theatre experience. I have my in home studio ready to go. I am an expert in technique and believe in training folks from the ground up. I love teaching people the proper way. I love teaching and I take pride in knowing there will be excellent taught people out there.

Pick N Paint Studio, based in Olive Branch, Mississippi, is a vibrant, full-service studio that offers art and music lessons to adults and youth alike. Led by Matt Thone, a seasoned guitarist and Berklee College of Music alumnus, the studio adds a creative spark to various events such as birthday and private parties, church groups, and school activities. Besides teaching, Pick N Paint also excels in creating custom artwork including business signs, murals, and 3D art, providing unique artistic solutions for restaurants, churches, schools, and homes.
