Dylan Goodhue teaches practical instruction. Students see real results quickly
I enjoy seeing students have sudden realizations about their singing. They 'connect the dots' or figure out techniques that make their singing much easier.
Dylan is quick to identify and address weaknesses in technique. He focuses on breathing and exercises to improve, and also knows a few of what he calls "party tricks" to instantly change the way your head resonates; it is your instrument, after all! My lessons with him were fruitful, informative, and game-changers.
Dylan is the best vocal coach I’ve ever had. His attention to detail is amazing, starting of course with your voice but also including mic techniques and even the general health of your entire body - which is after all your instrument. I would recommend him to anyone, beginners and professionals alike
SUPERFONICOS is the first time ever that I stepped in the shoes of a lead singer frontman. Thanks to Dylan and his coaching, I improved my skills, learned to take care of my instrument and achieve the confidence to be a successful performer in the most important stages of this city. Thank you forever Dylan.
Dylan's vocal coaching was invaluable to me. Especially during those early Brown Sabbath tours where we were doing ten shows in a row and only had one day off. He gave me the tools to refine and protect my instrument. Dylan is a great vocal instructor with a lot of practical knowledge. Beyond that, he also has something I find many instructors are missing: extensive, first-hand, world-wide performance experience. Highly recommend him to anyone serious about their craft. He definitely shows you the way.
I teach the fundamentals of singing: breathing, pitch and tone.
I trained with Seth Riggs [LA based vocal coach]
I taught at the Austin School of Music
I work as a vocal coach for Austin musicians
I started teaching with Austin School of Music, then evenutaly build my own private vocal coaching practice.
From beginners to rock stars. From kids to older people. All genres.
I was working at a concert at Moody theater in Austin and one of my students was singing with his band. His vocals sounded great and he personally thanked me for the insights and lessons I provided for him.
Find a teacher that resonates with you. I am very practical and I need my students to develop a strong personal vocal practice.
Students should ask themselves why they are looking for lessons.
