What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We first determine the new student’s fitness level and skill set. From there we set them up with the appropriate class and or instructor 


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Guy Mezger is one of the most accomplished combat athletes of all time. In his 17 years as a professional fighter, he is 6 world championships in 5 separate combat sports (including an 11-0 professional boxing record).  

Dr. Mezger has degree in natural medicine and his PhD in holistic health. He brings is vast experience in combat sports, health and medicine to all his students. 

How did you get started teaching?

Guy got started teaching kids in 1986 and opened his first gym in April of 1988. 


What types of students have you worked with?

Guy has worked with all kinds of students ranging from kids, adults, both amateur and professional athletes and the United States military 


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

The important to determine that the instructor is capable and willing to work with you at your level, both fitness and skill


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Potential students should have some understanding of what they are getting into. Be sure to question the instructor about there expectations of their students
