Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on the class, I would begin by seeing where the students stand. After seeing where they stand for the subject, I would like to see where they want to get in the near future. Preferably I do my classes on zoom and use Google classroom to help the material. All courses that I give can work online. I would be traveling to the student, due to the situations, I would prefer to do classes that can be online. All the courses that I offer do not need to be face to face. The courses can be done with my help to get where you like to form the comfort of home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout the years I have been having some teaching experience. For example, for about 5 years, in high school I started teaching kids around the ages (3-14) how to swim (2015-2017), read, write, and do math (2018 - present). Recently in the past 2 years, I have been helping my sisters and my friends siblings teaching english and math. Also recently I started teaching Spanish to people (2020- present). I love helping others expand their curiosity in the world of teaching and I am so excited to offer my expertise.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the class I do a standard price. But, I would rather speak to you indivindually to work with you and talk about the prices.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching back in high school by teaching kids how to swim. I saw this opportunity to see how the teaching environment would be for me. At the end of my session, I ended up liking the interaction I had with kids. I enjoyed teaching kids new material and seeing the smile on their faces when they concorded what they worked hard towards achieving. Recently I started teaching Spanish to adults, I found it very but and like something I enjoy doing.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with all type students from kids to adults.
