What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Familiarize student with instrument, using a song he wants to lear as the medium to teach chord shapes necessary to that song, elementary music theory, introduce other songs to broaden student ability and interest.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Played with The Wayward Winds, a folk/folk rock acoustic group, in the 1960's and 70's; hostnd perfdorm at an open mic and jam at Aransas Pass Rialto Tuesday nights (interrupted by COVID), hot Tuesday pm musdic jam and happy hour performance at Bayviewe RV Park on Wednesday's 2pm to 4:30 pm, study with Wayne Warden, and with Dan Mathis, both singer/song writers.
