How did you get started teaching?
I started as an kig/teenage entreprenur. I taught my bandmates how to read music and improvise (jazz). In high school & college, I taught my friends how to play electronic instruments (synthesizer keyboards, sequence music on keyboards, program drums on drum machines), as well as how to engineer studio sessions.
In my adult professional career, I started private piano and voice lessons in 2004, and served in a public school district from 2008 to the present.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice to all of my students has always been my own personal life quotes:
"Your imagination is your canvas!"
"If you can dream it, you can have it!"
"Take the risk!"
"Pursue your dreams!"
"Think positive!"
"Believe in yourself and the power of your mind!"
"Success comes to those to dream, plan, and execute!"
