Laurie DePauw Music Studio

I am a skilled instructor and have been teaching for over 16 years. My experience includes teaching at the University of North Texas, Denton and HEB school districts, through many churches and my private studio. I have worked with ages ranging from children through adults. With music, I hold my bachelor's degrees in music education and vocal performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I earned my master's in vocal performance from the University of North Texas. I am certified to teach music in the schools in Texas. I have performed with numerous organizations and many of my students have succeeded in performing and have entered college music programs. I have a strong interest in health, nutrition and cooking. I believe that healthy habits including our food choices can give us a higher quality of life. I love sharing this knowledge with others! I help students by identifying each individual goal and aim. Tailoring instruction to meet your need is crucial and I will teach to help you reach your utmost in learning. I love to teach and by sharing this, I believe we become not only more skilled in applied subjects but we also gain greater understanding and appreciation!
