Hi! I am Shariq Lalani and I have over 10 years of experience in Piano performance and have taught it for years to beginner and more intermediate students. I am essentially a Jazz pianist as well as a composer and producer. I have also studied music production from LA based recording school and hold a diploma in audio engineering.
I believe there is a difference between teaching someone an instrument and teaching MUSIC. My students not only learn the techniques on piano but learn to appreciate music in general and develop great ears for music and understand how a composition works. A lot of my students learn to compose their own musical tunes using and applying the theoretical knowledge from my lessons.
