What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Your first hour of lessons for any new student are free, so we ensure you have a good fit with Funkytown as well as your instructor. If you love church music, whether Hillsong or hymns, we’ll help you grow in that arena. If you’re not sure about God, or you’d simply prefer to rock with Rachmaninoff or Rage Against the Machine, we can get you to where you dream of being as a musician. Lessons are 45 minutes for most students. Advanced students may choose 60 minute lessons to ensure sufficient progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All staff are attending college, grad school, or have already graduated with degrees. You'll be able to work with professional musicians who have professional experience playing for musicals, symphonies, churches, bands, in addition to teaching students of any skill level.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
All lessons are currently $45/hour, billed monthly. We like to keep things simple. We also pay our teachers one of the highest rates of any music school in Fort Worth.
