Funkytown Music Academy was created to guide you on your creative journey. We do this in three ways:
-Offering you an exceptional music education through private, group, and ensemble instruction
-Making this opportunity widely available through scholarships to families who might otherwise be unable to access lessons, both in person and online
-And empowering passionate music educators with the needed time, compensation, and freedom to unleash their own creativity in developing you, the student

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All staff are attending college, grad school, or have already graduated with degrees. You'll be able to work with professional musicians who have professional experience playing for musicals, symphonies, churches, bands, in addition to teaching students of any skill level.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
All lessons are currently $45/hour, billed monthly. We like to keep things simple. We also pay our teachers one of the highest rates of any music school in Fort Worth.
