I'm Jacqueline Baez, violinist with a master degree in Violin Performance, currently working as a private violin lessons instructor at Frisco ISD (Pioneer MS, Pearson MS, Roach MS and Staley MS) as well as violinist at the Plano Symphony, Irving Symphony and San Angelo Symphony Orchestras. I enjoy teaching beginners as well as intermediate students. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with my students and seeing them reach a high level in their instrument so they can enjoy how they are playing and make others enjoy it as much or more than they.
What I enjoy most of my work is that every day I meet new people, I have been able to travel and to know many countries and I have been able to make very good friends throughout my life as a student and professional as well as I have had the opportunity to play with great artists of the classic and popular music like Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Il Divo, Michael Camilo, Gloria Stefan, Richard Clayderman, Shakira, among others

Ms Baez is working very well with my daughter getting started in the violin.
She is a great teacher! With many years of experience.
Ms. Baez teaches private lessons to my orchestra students and does a fantastic job. She cares about each one and tailors her lessons to their needs as a musician. They really enjoy the weekly lessons and I have seen improvement as a result.
She is an amazing teacher, very patiente, my kids are learning fast, she is doing a great job, my kids love her, I highly recommend her, she is very responsible and easy to work with your schedule.
The teaching of violin is like build a building, the first foundation in which I emphasize giving the student a good posture of the instrument, working the left hand and the right hand separately to then work these two skills together and at the same time developing the skill of reading and playing. To bring them to a higher level through scales, studies, pieces and concertos for violin-viola in which diferents bow strokes, shifting and vibrato are developed.
I have a Masters degree in music Violin Performance from the University of Texas and a bachelor degree in Music Education, I have experience of more than 10 years in the violin teaching including the teaching of the Suzuki method with children from the age of 5.
I started teaching violin lessons with the Suzuki method 12 years ago
I have worked both levels, university and elementary students
