About
I am passionate about helping singers of all ages and talent levels to reach their individual musical goals. I have a degree in Music Education from the University of North Texas and 14 years of experience singing professionally and teaching private voice lessons. My students have gone on to become professional musicians, music therapists, and music teachers, and have gained the skills necessary to have a lifelong passion for and talent in singing. I teach lessons both in person from my home studio as well as virtually.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first work with a new student, I do a vocal inventory to see what skills students already possess and what areas might need more work. I check with students about what their goals and interests are and come up with a direction to move in our time together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance and Choral Music Education from the University of North Texas, and 14 years of private teaching experience as well as extensive professional performing experience in the United States and abroad.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons are $35/30 minute lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
My teaching career started with a deep passion for singing. I absolutely love the expressive capabilities that we have as singers and wanted to get the chance to help others to grow in their craft so that they might more fully and beautifully express themselves as well.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students as young as 4 years old and as old as 65. I have had students who get all the leads in their school musicals and aspire to Broadway, and I have had students who can't match pitch and are complete beginners. I love working with all ages and skill levels and am equipped to help students grow no matter what level they start at.
