Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Since we teach all ages and all instruments it varies quite a bit. As a guitar teacher I evaluate where the student is ability wise and what their desires are. All beginning guitar students need to learn and play things that will build up their coordination as quickly as possible. We start ,generally with basic music terms, parts of the guitar a few chords and a easy riff or two. This is usually what the first lesson consists of.
