I ensure that students are taught from a personalized curriculum that brings them closer to their goals while emphasizing the music fundamentals that will prepare and enrich them for life. I am passionate about guitar, bass, piano, harmonica, theory/composition, and songwriting. I believe I can engage any curious or dedicated student with this eclectic mix of perspectives and experience. I am a Berklee graduate with 10 years experience teaching students of all ages from 4-75 years of age.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I assess their musical background, learning style, and get an understanding of their musical goals. We set milestones to work towards based on their goals. I advise each student on a practice routine and always leave an outline of what we went over at each lesson as well as what they should be working on between lessons.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who knows their craft and isn't just trying a part time gig out. Look for someone who has experience, a good work ethic, a passion for what they do, and make sure they understand and are capable of providing the guidance, feedback, and tools you need to reach your musical goals large or small.
