I have been in the martial arts business for 51 years. My dojo (school), teaches self defence, Tae Kwon Do, Ninjitsu, Aikido, Ju Jitsu, Silat, King Fu, Tai Chi, and Yoga. We also offer weapons training for Nunchuks, Bo's, Kamas, Swords, Jo's and many more. We teach regular classes and we do private lessons.  We have programs for kids from 4 to 7, and kids from 7 to 15, and an adult program. Please give us a call, and let's get you on your way to Black Belt!

I began when I was 11 years old, and I am 59 years old now. I love teaching kids self confidence and raising their self esteem. We also have an honor roll program for kkds, and we reward each honor Roll child with patches for their uniform. I believe the whole child is training in the martial arts. Our beliefe is that it takes 5 qualities to be a black belt; Honor, Integrity, Disclipline, Focus and Honesty! We are here to do what we love with your family. He

I quickly learned I am passionate about the martial arts, and I want to extend it to anyone who needs self-confidence, safety defending, or, helping them to learn to defend their family.  Any of those and other reasons to Know martial arts is a reason to come in and try your first lesson at NO CHARGE!

What types of students have you worked with?

We teach absolutely ALL student, Adults, children between 4 and 15, years old, and we have a "Special Needs" Class. It includes kids with Autism, birth defects, Learn disabities and physical abnormalities.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

One of our students just won second place in a local tournament in the Weapons division.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Start teaching as young as possible. What you don't realize, is that just because you are a black belt, does not mean that you have patience and understanding to lead class,  or even one student. I have 51 years in the Martial Arts and Iiterally learned to teach by just watching my instructor, Grandmaster Pat Burleson, 10th Black.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

How long have you been in the business of teaching Martial Arts?
