About

I am a Jazz Studies Major at UNT! I love performing contemporary music, Jazz and a variety of other Genre's as well. I love to pass on my knowledge of music to others! I offer lessons in:

Guitar - From the Basics to playing a killer guitar solo, I can guide you in crafting your skill as well as your musicianship.

Voice - In the Jazz/Contemporary style. The human voice is a wonderful thing because it's the one instrument that sounds unique from person to person. As a vocal major in Jazz, I would love to help you find and build your voice and guide you to become a performer and superb musician.

Piano - Primarily Jazz. The piano is the best instrument for learning the language of music due to its perfect visual layout! After learning the basics of piano, I dive into Jazz/ Contemporary piano which is a little different from classical piano. And definitely more fun!

I love working with people and sharing music and theory with others! Music is my Career, Passion, and Hobby! I love to share and help others discover new things about their music.

    Frequently asked questions

When working with a new student I feel it is important to hear their full range and capabilities, understand what the direction THEY want to take with their musicianship, and lead them in the direction best suited to what their goals are.

I am a 3rd-year student at University of North Texas College of Music in their well known Vocal Jazz Program, with an ample amount of experience in vocals, theory, and performing.

My lessons at the studio are a reasonable $40 for guitar, voice, and piano!

I started teaching friends that are passionate about music and it took off from there

I have worked students that were beginning their musical exploration along with students who were skilled at their instrument, looking to advance themselves as a musician and get deeper into music theory.

My advice is that there is NO teacher that will magically make you better. Music takes passion and dedication! Guiding you in the right direction and knowing the student's "Next Step" is what any good voice teacher is there for, but the practicing and passion is on the student!

It is important to take control of your lessons. Know what your goals are and be honest with your teacher! We are here to help YOU achieve YOUR goals. Never be afraid to ask for something. It never hurts to ask!
