I have been taking lessons with Mrs. Farrelly now for over 5 years and she has just been absolutely amazing! She was one of the biggest influences in my musical career and helped me achieve my goal in getting accepted into my college's Music Education program. She is incredibly passionate about her teachings and I honestly would not know where I would be today without her guidance. Mrs. Farrelly has always been patient and supportive about everything I have done in my musical career, not only making me a better musician but also building my confidence in performing. Not only has she been a wonderful teacher, but she has also been an undoubtedly great mentor by listening to my own passions and graciously sharing her wisdom. She genuinely cares about her students and is willing to go above and beyond to tailor the lessons according to what is needed. Her instructions and feedback are always crystal clear, so I never feel unsure or confused about a piece. Whenever I have a concern or question, she always listens intently and works with me to figure out the best solution possible. I feel so honored to have met and studied with her over these past years and without her knowledge and willingness to teach me, I truly feel that I would be lost today. I only hope to one day be as amazing of a teacher to my students as she has been to me!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I begin with a trial lesson to assess any new student. From there I can suggest repertoire and set goals for our lessons.

It is important that the student is comfortable with me and my approach and has an understanding of what to expect from week to week.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have both a B.M and M.M. In music performance from UNT.

I am also a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Dallas Music Teachers Association, and the Music Teachers National Association.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

30 minute lesson, $40

60 minute lesson, $80
