About

I've been a professional guitarist for over 30 years. I teach beginners and I specialize in The Blues & Rock. Most people learn how to play either by ear or they were school taught by reading music. I like to apply both methods. So this is the way I like to teach. We start off by listening to the song the student wants to learn and train their ears to be able to find the chords and lines by ear. Then we will examine the sheet music or chart and learn other parts by reading the notes and chord charts. I think by applying these methods will help the student to have a solid understanding of music.

I was raised in the music biz from the age of 10. It's all I've ever done my entire life and it will continue to be the only thing for the rest of my life. I love music. It's just that simple. If you want to check me out and if your intersted in owning a copy of my music go to

    Frequently asked questions

On the first lesson I like to sit down with a student and chat a little bit about what kind of music they listen to and why do they want to learn how to play. I like to find out if they have any prior musical education, if they currently learning in school and what are their goals as far as why do they want to learn how to play and I like to see what they can do and what they've learned already and where they're at as far as their abilities and let them ask me some questions
