About
HP Tennis Pro is a one-of-a-kind tennis teaching community. We have developed this site to help players who are serious about the game—and who want to take their game to the next level. We offer a number of resources and training programs to connect tennis players with experienced and knowledgeable coaches.
What sets HP Tennis Pro apart from other tennis websites is this one-on-one connection between coaches and players. We offer video analysis of tennis play and even online coaching sessions with a tennis coach that can help players get over some of the issues that plague their game.
We began our tennis academy with the goal of sharing our love of the game. However, it is much more than that. We aim to become the leader and innovator in providing world-class tennis coaching and training. We have many plans in the works to change the way people think about the game of tennis and what it takes to reach to the next level. We have several training programs: Accelerated Training (10U), High-Performance Training, Summer Training, Private Training Session. Our fitness, conditioning, and psychological skills training are included with all our world-class tennis training programs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
An assessment of goal(s) of the student. Set a timeline/frequency to achieve those goals. Typical goals can be technical, mental, and/or physical.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
USPTA Certified Professional. USTA High Performance Coaching. MS Exercise Science & Human Performance. USTA Sport Science.

How did you get started teaching?
I love sharing my passion in teaching, learning, and playing tennis.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have students ages range from as young as 5 years old. High school and college bound students are also on my roster. My specialty is in 10&Under Tennis Development.
I also work with adults to fine tune their games for USTA leagues/tournaments. Some adults just want to get a good workout.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's a trial and error process. However, ask a lot of questions, see what the coach can give you. Attend his/her group classes as well as private to examine if the coach is the right fit for you.
You're not only examining their playing ability, but most importantly is their knowledge of the game and be able to design/develop a learning environment to help take you to your goal.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are my goals? Long term? Short term? Why do I want to play/learn tennis? What/who influences me to take up or return to tennis?
The objective here is to pin-point our motivation and passion. Motivation and passion can grow, they just need to be cultivated and cared for.
